Jeffrey Morris Photography works closely with our clients to create beautiful, emotionally evocative display art that is cherished for a lifetime. Whether shooting in the studio, around your home, at a Washington, DC landmark or on a Los Angeles beach, we focus on providing a fun and creative experience, exceptional client service, and extraordinary art that brings sheer joy to each and every client.
“Our pets are in many ways just like any other member of our families. We believe that our memories of them should be saved and displayed with the same level of artistic value and expression as the human portraits we create…” – Jeffrey
To create such personal and expressive photographic art of pets, Jeffrey and his team are committed to creativity, individual expression, and client service. This dedication is the framework that allows us to capture the motion and emotion in a static moment, and it is the foundation of the lifelong relationships we build with our clients.

Leaving behind a successful career as a Program Director and Health Consultant, Jeffrey decided to pursue one of his two loves, photography, as a full time profession nearly 10 years ago. Decades earlier he began studying photography as a means of getting better imagery of the bands in which he played and the puppies that he raised. That began a lifelong pursuit of capturing better and more artistic images which led to a number publications, awards and shows. Since then, he has managed a successful photography business playing and photographing pets at DC landmarks and Los Angeles beach

Say hello to Imogen (Imi), our model-in-residence. Imi joined our team in 2016 when she was rescued from the streets of Istanbul, Turkey. Hardly photo-ready and fearful of most everything after nearly two years of neglect and abuse, Imi spent the next couple of years recovering, healing and adapting to her new job as model-in-residence for a pet photographer.
Now she helps us to test equipment, try out new lighting ideas, and occasionally assists a nervous guest model to relax. But mostly, she sniffs around for treats and hugs.
Imi will soon have her own section of the Jeffrey Morris Photography blog where you can read about her background, incredible journey and amazing recovery from street scraps to divi dog model.
